Fur Babies

I have four fur babies - Mocha, my cat, and Tui, Kali and Ember, my dogs.  Tui is the mama of Kali and Ember and was given to me as a gift by my friend Jocelyn and family.  I had been trying for a baby for a while and had my first miscarriage, Tui came into my life and healed my soul.  I love Tui so much and I am forever grateful for my beautiful gift of unconditional love.

Tui had her first litter at the age of six and she made me a little black puppy like herself and we called her Kali after the Indian goddess.  I gifted the other three puppies to friends and family, passing on the gifts of love.

At the age of nine, Tui surprised me by taking a shine to a nine month-old schnauzer pup and voila we had another six little puppies.  One little pup didn’t make it and is forever in our hearts.  We found forever homes for all the pups and the gift of unconditional love keeps on giving and the cool thing is we all still keep in touch and the puppies have been able to see their siblings and circle of love was complete.  Of course, Tui made me another little black puppy so we had to keep her to and we named her Ember.

All three dogs have come into my life and had a profound healing on me throughout my fertility journey.  I totally believe Tui fell pregnant at the age of nine (human years sixty-three) and said “come on mum, if I can do it so can you”.  Throughout her second pregnancy I was more confident at using the dōTERRA Essential Oils on pets as I had seen many miracles happen with my own and client’s pets using the oils.  I pampered Tui and she sailed through this pregnancy.  As soon as she started getting morning sickness, I was rubbing her belly with dōTERRA Digestzen and Ginger.   I made her lots of home-made bone broth and regularly massaged her with dōTERRA Rose and Frankincense.

When the puppies were born, they were all anointed with dōTERRA Frankincense on their third eye, Myrrh on their belly button and Balance under their feet.  Everyday I helped their little tummies by rubbing on Digestzen. One of the pups from the first litter ate some plastic from the wee mats and was really sick. After rubbing Digestzen diluted with Fractionated Coconut Oil on his belly, he threw up the plastic and pooped the rest out to and was back playing in no time.

After both of Tui’s pregnancies I was able to support her temperature and cool her down using dōTERRA Peppermint compresses.  dōTERRA OnGuard helped support her immune system to.  I was able to support her through some nursing issues to using dōTERRA Helichrysum, Lavender, Tea Tree and Oregano.  It is important to dilute all essential oils when applying on pets and learn which oils to avoid and ones that are safe to use.  I only recommend dōTERRA certified pure tested grade essential oils for animals because of the comprehensive testing that is done for the highest standards of purity. The internet can have a lot of negativities around using essential oils on pets and animals,  my intention is to do more education and teach people how to use them properly.

My fur babies are my babies and I have been able to treat them with my holistic tools instantly when they have been unwell and support them naturally. They trust me and come to me to let me know they need help and can often be treated naturally without the side effects of medications and also avoiding huge costs.

Reiki on pets is also an amazing holistic tool for their healing.  I give my pets the Gia Wellness i-H2O intelligent water every day to for super hydration and each one has a Gia Lite pendant to.

Another tool I like is the app, SpOIL Your Pet, which allows you to search through common health concerns and find out which essential oils can be used to aid in treating your pet. Click here to download the app for Android, and click here to download the app for iPhone.

Meet Roo & Kell Bell

I would just like to share how Ali helped me in a very desperate, and at the time, hopeless situation.

I had a litter of 4 Schnoodle puppies - all absolutely beautiful however one little soul 'Roo' had something going on.

A few visits to the vet with tests and X-rays revealed she had a condition called Congenital Mega Oesophagus which is where the muscles in the oesophagus don't contract so the result is constant vomiting after eating. It was suggested I get wee Roo put down.

I researched, Googled and learnt life expectancy was 90 days and there was a 20-40% chance she would survive. There was a high chance she would aspirate and have major breathing issues resulting in her passing away.

I couldn't make that decision, Roo was only 5 weeks old... So Ali to the rescue with daily reiki sessions, oils of the day and Roo hung in there, lapping it all up.
